Even though I had read previous reviews, I forgot to remove the dome. I was disappointed at the muted, blurry blobs on the ceiling. When I investigated to see if it could be focused, I then remembered the dome came off. What a difference! Bright, vibrant colors and laser-like red patterns... I am glad I bought two. My 6-year old daughter loves hers and... fortunately... my 3-year old son doesn't want any lights in his room at night... because instead of buying another one for MY room, I can just use his. And yes, I have mine plugged in and shining over my bed. Sometimes I use the timer, but then I wake up sad at the lack of pretty lights. Other times, I let it run all night and any awakenings, I feel happy and relaxed. I have not used the mp3 feature yet. My wife asked my why they would package this with the dulling dome. I have no idea. If the dome was not removable, this would not be worth $10. But I feel it is certainly worth the price once the dome is removed and the vivid light is free to shine.

I've had this product for just under a week so far, so I can't fully rate it just yet. However the delivery was fast and the product came exactly as expected.
It's true what you read, the lights really stand out when you remove the dome. With the dome covering left on, the lights aren't as vibrant or outstanding, but provides a very subtle change to a dark room. It's very relaxing to look at.
With the dome on, gives you a very different feel, but equally pleasing. The options to rotate, laser on, and flashing are cool touches to the already awesome device.
The timer is a great addition because it's likely when this is on that I won't be near it to turn off. It's awesome to have the timer option and be able to leave it on when falling asleep.
I have yet to try the sound plug in, but the options are there. I'm excited to try that out as well and will report after a month or two to review the longevity of the sphere!

Great product. Wife and baby love it, so ordered a second. Been using it as a night light and/or remote operated light at night. The remote lets you adjust brightness (low/med/high), colors (several), the dancing red laser (on/off), rotation (on/off), a timer, sound volume, and on/off.
It also came with a speaker cable with 3.5mm jack to let you use it as a speaker. Haven't tried that yet. Unit further has a tilt option, which works just fine. The fractal cover you see in the picture acts as a light diffuser (darkens and mutes the colors). We take it off to make the colors crazy vibrant. Under the diffuser cover is a finished plastic face that creates a very cool aurora. The diffuser just pops off, no tools/tweaking required.

Purchased as a gift for a niece but my boyfriend decided that it was awesome and we should keep it. It is awesome and Im glad we kept it. The different settings make it a really versatile light show that you can set based on your preferences. It's very relaxing and we've had several compliments on it from adult friends. Purchased a second one for my niece, she's almost 1 and she likes to watch the colors dance on the ceiling too! You can see her following the lazer with her eyes. My brother says that it seems to help her fall asleep faster and when she wakes up, she just lays there and quietly watch the lights. Great gift for all ages!

For the price, this is a great deal!
It has TONS of functions; build in speaker with headphone jack so you can play your music on your player into the device, a controller where you can adjust the light intensity, rotation, how long it stays on until it turns off, and so forth.
I love being able to adjust it, it has so many settings like different variation in the lights, how loud the sound, how bright the lights, etc. Very good bank for your buck.

Pretty happy with this purchase. This little light is really cool, especially for the price. The company got it to me right away, on the delivery date promised, the packaging was intact, and the operation is straightforward. I was a bit stumped at the very first, until I realized that the best operation is with the dome off of the top. It's neat at first, but when you take that dome off it REALLY projects the lights well. I can't give feedback regarding the remote operation, as I have not used it yet. (Don't really need it for my purposes.)

This product is AWESOME, and it is beautiful. The picture I submitted was during the day with a quick glimpse of several of the many light settings that are available to the user!
The remote makes it incredibly simple to sift through the multitude of options available -- and as you can see, even during the day the light projects really well (semi-lighted, curtains drawn but not overly thick).
The timer is a great option to save electricity, but want the light to be running as you drift off to sleep. It's super ambient and I mainly use it for the red light setting (it matches the "vampire" theme of my room perfectly)! However, there are a lot of combinations that you can choose from to suit your preference in the moment. Occasionally I'll go for the multicolor option, but even so... it really has a setting to fit most occasions.
There are comparable products that I thought about buying, but I decided on this one instead. It is well worth the money that one would spend on it -- and it's actually pretty durable (the picture above it fell and ripped it from on top of the TV where it's positioned). I was terrified it was broken, but I plugged it back in and voila!
It's small and compact, and I imagine if I had it in the center of the room that nearly all of my ceiling would be illuminated. The glossed cover comes off for more vibrant lighting, and that's how I use it. In my opinions it's better without the cover, in general. But it gives you that extra option to use it as a night light if that's what you desire.
TLDR; I love it and am considering a second purchase for another room in my home!

I LOVE THIS THING. Seriously, it's so much cooler than I expected. There's so many features, and the different light levels (30%, 60% and 100%) is a great feature. It's silent (you can't hear the motor at all), it's easy to position, and it's easy to use.
But the best part is the Aurora/No Aurora feature. The Aurora is this beautiful red dancing light show thing that is so much fun to watch! You can turn it on and off separately from the other light patterns. (I've included a photo with Aurora on and with it off).
But yeah, best night-light I've ever bought. I'm going to recommend this to all of my friends, it's so neat.

There are multiple colors, various changing light patterns, and color modes. In a darkened room, it transforms your ceiling and walls into another space and time. It is just so fascinating! It really moves you. The first time that I watched it ... I was in awe.

Don't forget to remove the dome cover for brighter colors! With it, it makes a beautiful night light. It is so relaxing, calming, especially for my dog. Since the nightly light and music shows, he seems to have no more nightmares. I bought my Godson the first generation of this projector last year for Christmas. He loved it! I like how this one you can play music through it and set a time limit. Even though, I prefer to play the music on the stereo over its small speakers. I love this purchase :) it’s so easy to use and I love the calmness it brings to my bedroom. I leave it on on one of the slower settings on the hour timer at night and fall asleep with it. It’s beautiful quality. The only thing I have to say negative is so weird, my tv remote and my light remote are some how connected. So if I’m in bed using my remote to watch Netflix or whatever it changes my settings with my light and it’s the strangest thing. My boyfriend didn’t believe me at first and I’m not sure how the connect or why, but the tv remote can control my galaxy light. But not vice versa. It isn’t a huge deal. I just set my tv up to whatever I’d like to watch prior to setting up my projector:)

My grandson got this for Christmas. I loved it so I got 1 for myself and my grand-daughter ordered 1 as well . It has Bluetooth to play music from your cel library with remote control, and the variation of lighting provides such a relaxing atmosphere in any dark room as it lights up like stars in the sky. This is so easy to use as well. Why let the kids/teens have all the fun when Adults can enjoy this as well I know I am. It does have a small humming sound if your just turning the light projector part on without playing your music which don’t bother me since I enjoy using the lighting and music together.

I don’t really write reviews (contrived, I know) but had to give an honest review; this light is absolutely amazing for it’s price. The lights are vivid, the machine itself isn’t as bright as I thought, small and compact enough to fit on my nightstand, and overall a solid product.
My cons are few and don’t bug me but could bother others: there indeed is a low whirring sound from the machine which if it’s completely silent, could be annoying to some. The actual cable is very short you are limited as to where you can plug in the machine thus limiting the projection’s reach or coverage. If you have another LED remote controlled lamp like me, the projector remote will act as a universal remote which can be annoying if it’s in close proximity. If you lose the remote, the machine will be pretty much useless without it though as stated before, it seems like you can use other LED remotes with it.

I. Freaking. LOVE. IT!!!! My son, in the video, (volume up! ) is equally obsessed and I just ordered another one! I one thousand percent bought this for me and tbh didn't have high hopes or expectations. I just reeeeally wanted stars on my ceiling but those little stickers just aren't in my lane of desires. ♀️What did I do, you ask? I came to Amazon, quite naturally. This is just absolutely, brilliantly gorgeous! You guys rock!!
Side bar: I did end up purchasing a different one for me with different color options. My son loves these colors though, so it worked out! 5 , 2 ⬆️ , BIG pat on the back! Bravo! Brava! Slow, ascending clap! HUGE Thank YOU!!!! These are without a doubt going on my list of gift giving!!

100% worth it. I wanted to redo my room and give it a new look. I didn’t really have any ideas, yet I thought of what my ex had in their room, and sure enough I wanted to buy one. It’s really worth the money, I mean it looks so cool. The adapter isn’t a regular android charger though. It’s a different type of charger specifically for the device. And you need to have one of those charger blocks that connect the adapter to the outlet. Like the ones phone chargers have but idk what they’re called. Anyways, you also need two AAA batteries for the remote. Just remember those and you’ll be good. Also I was laying on the floor and I was staring at it for like 20 minutes and I was dizzy asf after so, I don’t suggest doing that The bluetooth speaker works perfect. It doesn’t sound like those cheap garbage speakers (yall know what I’m talking about) Its quality and sounds great. Plus it gets loud too. The lighting range is far so you don’t have to worry about it not covering your whole ceiling. My bad this review is long Anyways buy this sht✨

We purchased this projector to sync with all the live EDM sets we’ve been watching during quarantine, and it’s worked great so far! Color options are nice for different moods, and the sound detection works pretty well also. My only nitpick is that I wish the effect when matching the music was more than just a laser flash and galaxy color change, but otherwise it’s been a nice edition to our “at home raves”

Truly a great product! Definitely a good price for the quality of the item. I like the fact that you can have a choice of having stars or not. It looks like an aurora borealis and projects across the entire room. It was important that the visual effects were not cheesy, and this item exceeded my expectations with high quality projections that didn't look cheesy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am a long-time collector of various carnival club household projectors, and so far this is my favorite. You will get an all-weather with night function, a starry night theme and the advantages of laser function, moving dark cloud effect or a combination of the two Wow, does she like it! The color is so bright, the adjustable color and light are a good supplement! For those looking for unique gifts as gifts, especially those who love stars, this is a must! You can control the brightness of the stars, the color mode of the wave cloud, the volume of the Bluetooth, control the list of tracks when streaming, the speed of the wave/cloud, etc. through a small and easy-to-use remote control. It can also be activated by voice, but I haven't tried this feature yet. My favorite color scheme so far is the purple mode with super bright stars. Totally fascinating! The device is operated by USB and is small in size, but it illuminates a large area, so you can place it almost anywhere in the room and it can be completely covered! Very worthwhile price, in my opinion this is a fairly low price!

It is a very cool projector that shows some on wall on the roof of my daughter’s bedroom. She is very happy with her purchase and she was so excited when she got it. She even adjusted to find the right spot where it shows on the walls and roof.

My son is one and a half and he is OBSESSED with this product. He loves how it lights up the sky in his bedroom. I love to hook to the Bluetooth up and play soothing songs before bedtime. Very easy to use. Unlike most Bluetooth speakers, it is super uncomplicated. This was the best purchase I made all year! 5 out of 5 stars!
